Wheelchair Accessible Playground Equipment

Welcome to All-in Play!

We specialise in inclusive play for everybody. One in five people in Australia have some form of disability. For this reason, we design and manufacture inclusive low-rebound bounce facilities.

Suitable for public playgrounds and recreation areas, childcare centres, schools, special schools, shopping centres, aged care and medical facilities. Allowing all people to participate in recreational activities is important for communities, especially children. Using more than one bounce facility allows them to play the same activity in unison which has positive benefits. Likewise, it allows family / carers and wheelchair users to share a recreational activity.

“… benefits of regular rebounding for stress relief by ‘increasing endorphins, providing relaxation, promoting better sleeping patterns and increasing the circulation of oxygen around your body…”

“… one of the best and most effective exercises you can do as it provides a low-impact workout that tones muscles and improves co-ordination.” https://professionals.childhood.org.au/prosody/2018/02/jumping-for-your-health-and-to-regulate/

These products are suitable for playground and landscape designers, as well as council recreation planners to specify for projects. Likewise direct purchasing by childcare centres, schools, special schools, shopping centres, aged care and medical facilities is also suitable. Our Playground Equipment Is Suitable For:

Public Playgrounds

Communities consist of people with varying levels of physical ability. For this reason, the Wheelchair Trampoline were created to encourage participation by all, including those with motion impairment and wheelchair users. At the same time, Councils in Australia have incorporated inclusive design in public playgrounds to maximise community engagement and asset utilisation.

When a young child bounces for the first time, their hands and arms instinctively become outspread to steady themselves. Small Wheelchair Trampoline models allow parents to share this moment and hold their child’s hand. This opportunity is also valuable for grand parents to play a part of their grandchild’s physical development. Soon after, the child’s physical response may either reduce progressively or stop entirely as their sensory systems (mentioned in Schools below) develop new levels of proficiency. All the while, the low rebound design ensures the movement is controlled and safe for all.
Inclusive tourism is a growing market segment. Often travelling with a number of family members / carers, wheelchair users will stay longer at a destination. The use of Wheelchair Trampoline by Councils in public recreation areas / zones creates an environment that is usable for all visitors and therefore more attractive to tourists.

From a design perspective, Wheelchair Trampolines and their surrounding fall zones occupy minimal space relative to other equipment, meaning they are economical to include in playground designs. Combined with ultra-high durability and low maintenance means Councils on-going costs are minimised.

Special Schools

Specific Wheelchair Trampoline models suitable for wheelchair users and their teachers. The teacher generates the gentle movement which invariably brings smiles to students faces. More-over, this is a shared phyisical activity, with two people doing exactly the same thing, regardless of their physical ability levels. Larger models also allow a third person to be in front of the wheelchair user whilst bouncing, providing a higher level of engagement.

Schools

Children respond well to varying stimuli during their school day. The Wheelchair Trampoline provide a relaxing and stimulating movement for their classroom breaks. Numerous studies have found the bounce movement is beneficial to brain activity. Likewise, the balance (vestibular) and movement of the human body in space (proprioception) sensory systems are engaged.

Usable in hot or cold weather means they are used regularly and represent good value for schools. Also, the only playground equipment that can be used hands-free, promoting hygiene.
