The name Uni-Bouncer™ incorporates ‘Uni’, as this equipment uses Universal Design principles. These principles include ease of use irrespective of physical ability.

Therefore, the Uni-Bouncer™ range includes wheelchair accessible trampolines. This means that children and adults in wheelchairs can participate in a recreational bounce activity alongside able-bodied people on the same equipment.

They require an assistant to always accompany the wheelchair user. The assistant creates the gentle bounce movement. The larger units allow a third person to face the wheelchair user. In this case, three people are moving in unison creating a shared recreational activity. All three users can be of different generations making this the ultimate in family friendly equipment.

Unlike a lot of other playground equipment, Uni-Bouncers are at ground level and easily accessible. This means children who have just arrived at the playground can easily see how others are using it, will ask their parent if it’s ok to use it. In the latter case, the parent can either bounce with the child or easily monitor the child’s ability. When this scenario occurs where there are multiple Uni-Bouncers and several family groups at the same time, then children who don’t know each other are suddenly playing together!
