Uni-Splash™

The name Uni-Splash™ incorporates ‘Uni’, as this equipment uses Universal Design principles. These principles include making the design appealing for all users.

Children love jumping in puddles! The combination of jumping into shallow water from a slightly high level provides a unique tactile and visual response. Ie the feeling of water on the skin and water movement / splash droplets caused by jumping on it.

We created Uni-Splash™ to replicate puddle jumping in a pre-designed recreational setting / Splashpad. They are generically known as ‘splashpad trampolines’. As with Uni-Bouncer™, some models are wheelchair accessible and large enough for several people to join the bounce movement at the same time. What fun, puddle jumping with several children in the same puddle and one in a wheelchair.

This equipment encourages vigorous recreation even in the hottest weather which can be seen in the videos. The combination of cool water, play equipment and impact attenuating flooring allows children to play safely for hours in summer. Also, splashpads are typically flat meaning equipment that is at ground level will be used a lot.

Splashpad trampolines are the only equipment this enables a rhythmic movement in a water playground setting. This movement is soothing amongst the noise and commotion of a playground.

Children learn how to use a splashpad trampoline by simply watching others.
